TARRYTOWN, NY - Noah Duarte, New York Regional Manager for Gentle Giant Moving Company, has been named one of 2010's "Rising Stars Westchester's Forty under Forty" by The Business Council of Westchester. The award honors business executives, under the age of forty, who are considered rising stars in their respective fields and/or industries.
A "Gentle Giant" for over 10 years, Noah consolidated the company's operations in its Westchester location in Tarrytown two years ago. Even in these turbulent economic times, Noah is credited with increasing the office's annual shipment growth by 23%.
"I consider it a huge honor to have been in Westchester a relatively short time and already helped put Gentle Giant 'on the map' with this prestigious award," said Noah, who resides with his wife in Ossining.
Noah and the other 39 recipients of this 7th annual award will be celebrated at a reception held at MasterCard International in Purchase on June 10th.
