I've probably moved about 11 times since I moved to Seattle in 1999 and Gentle Giant are by FAR the best movers in the city. I called a couple of other places before I found them but no one could guarantee their arrival time. It was important to us because there is only street parking in front of our apartment during certain times of the day. Gentle Giant understood the importance of a good parking spot downtown and was willing to set a specific time.

It started snowing the night before our move (rare in Seattle) so we assumed that they would cancel. We got a call at 8:15 a.m. telling us they were on their way over. When they arrived they were all really genuinely nice guys who moved all our stuff out in no time at all. The move was within a half hour of their estimate even though we ended up having more stuff than we had told them.

If I ever move again, I'll happily use their services again.

Cost/Professionalism: I got three different estimates and not only did these guys come in lower than everyone else, they didn't have a pushy "sales guy" pitch what so ever. I felt 100% comfortable with them and knew I had my movers as soon as we did our walk through.

Preparation: Boxes, boxes and more boxes! As a business we had TONS of product to move- they provided multiple bundles of boxes, they were flexible with the alley and elevators and they had a great Move Coordinator that kept in touch with me throughout the weeks before the actual move.

The Move: What a fun, lively, strong group of guys! Speedy, efficient and gentle with our things - they made our move worry free! I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving a home or office.

We used Gentle Giant for our move from Seattle, WA to Kirkland, WA. We hired 3 giants and I think it was the right decision since we got it done very quickly (2 bedroom in 6 hours). The whole process was very simple and the company very professional. They arrived on time and communicated with us clearly. They even helped us pack kitchen stuff. They worked efficiently. They broke one of our lamps when carrying it to the elevator but because we had insurance, we got the money back.

I would definitely used them again and recommend them to any of my friends.

These guys are great! I couldn't work it out so they would be able to move my stuff cross-country, so I hired them for the local storage-to-apartment leg of the super-long ordeal that this move has been.

It was seriously the easiest part of the move: both Giants were super friendly & helpful, they showed up right on time, they were extremely careful with my stuff, and they came in under the estimate (I've moved three times coast to coast, and this never happens).

Then I had to get my cable hooked up, so if you graphed my day, the good times would've fallen off a cliff. Call these guys FIRST.
