Start-to-Finish Customer Service

Coordinator and extends to follow-up after your move from one of our Customer Retention

care of each of our customers on every move, from the first phone call until after the
last box has been unpacked. When moving with Gentle Giant, you can expect exceptional
service at every step:
- Pre Move: After your initial conversation with a Sales Consultant, you will be
assigned a Move Coordinator — a single contact who will work closely with you at each
step leading up to and during your move to insure the smoothest experience possible.
Your Move Coordinator can also assist you in selecting the appropriate types and amount
of boxes and packing materials from Box Xpress, and aid your decision-making on
valuation (transit protection) for your move. In addition, a variety of helpful
resources, such as a Moving Checklist, are available on our website.
- Move Day: On move day, your Crew Chief will oversee the move logistics and
facilitate communication to insure that you are satisfied with the quality of service.
Should you have additional questions or concerns, your Move Coordinator is available to
you at this time as well.
- Post/After Move: At the end of your move, your Crew Chief will provide you with a customer
comment card, on which we ask for an honest evaluation of our service. If we don’t
receive your response back within several weeks, a member of our follow-up team will
contact you. And, although we have received many awards for our service, we are
nonetheless human and, upon occasion, mistakes do happen. Should any damages occur on
your move, our dedicated Quality Control department will ensure a satisfactory, timely
