Bob grew up in Rhode Island, spent winters in Hopkinton, MA and summers on Prudence Island. But he has called Charlotte, NC home since 2006. This is the year he was promoted to help manage Gentle Giant's burgeoning Charlotte presence.

In college, Bob was actively involved in community development. He traveled across the country working on Habitat for Humanity projects and spent a summer in Guatemala on an economic development team. The group was asked to create a low-cost feed system for livestock that functioned in conjunction with the village farm store, which they were also helping to build.

Bob attended the University of Rhode Island, where he was an avid volleyball player. He even played semi-pro beach volleyball doubles. When Bob isn't busy at work, he loves to play guitar, record music, paint, draw and spend time at the beach with his wife and children.

Since Michael Valle's start at Gentle Giant, he has been a constant source of positivity and fun, on the job and in the office. Customers and employees both agree that when "the going gets tough, the tough get Michael Valle." His work ethic and great energy have helped him to go from an entry-level position to a leader in the Charlotte, North Carolina office.

When Michael isn't helping with sales, marketing and operations in Charlotte, you can find him shredding on guitar, dancing, grilling out with his family and working out.

Chris is a native of Charlotte, NC and has been working at Gentle Giant Moving Company since 2007. He is a strong believer in the value of hard work and loves tackling the every day challenges he experiences on moves.

Most days before or after work, Chris will be in the warehouse gym lifting weights and staying in shape for rugby season. He is a talented rugby player and loves being part of a team, something that makes him a standout member of the Gentle Giant team.

James has been with Gentle Giant's Charlotte regional office since 2017. After starting out as a mover on the trucks, he progressed to Crew Chief thanks to his hard-working and positive attitude! Today, he is a valued leader at the company and continuously receives praise from both customers and his fellow Giants.

There are a lot of reasons why James has remained with Gentle Giant since 2017 but he says his absolute favorite thing about the company is the people. 'I also find it so rewarding helping customers at such an important stage of their life.'

James is a graduate of Central Piedmont Community College where he majored in Ophthalmic Medical Personnel studies. In his free time, he enjoys being active outdoors and says that living in Charlotte is great for someone who loves hiking and trail walking as much as he does!

Talon got his start with Gentle Giant in 2020 after discovering the company on his college's job site. In 2023 he became a Crew Chief at Gentle Giant's Charlotte regional office after displaying strong leadership skills and patience on difficult and long move days.

Talon is a graduate of the University of North Carolina - Charlotte where he majored in Exercise Science. His passion for exercise and fitness goes beyond the classroom as he lists morning gym visits and working out as his favorite pastime. He also enjoys playing video games to relax after a hard day's work.

Like so many of the Giants, Talon's favorite things about working at Gentle Giant are the life-long friendships he has made and the camaraderie he shares with his crews. Even on the longer and more strenuous moves he always has a laugh with the Giants!
