We’re excited to announce that Christian Fleetwood from our Charlotte office is Gentle Giant’s Athlete of the Month for February!
Christian is an amateur golfer who has been pursuing professional golf and competing in pro tournaments since graduating from Chowan University in 2018.
Christian was introduced to golf by his father at just five years old and continued playing throughout high school and college. During his time at Chowan, he helped his team win two conference championships.
Since graduating, Christian has continued to pursue his goal of playing professional golf. Without sponsorships, he is currently funding his golf career by working at Gentle Giant, practicing outside of work, and saving to cover the costs of travel and tournament fees.
At Gentle Giant, Christian is currently in the final steps of the Crew Chief certification process. As he’s continued to grow in his role, he’s noticed a lot of overlap between the lessons he’s learned on the golf course and those he applies on the trucks.
In both, Christian has learned the importance of staying focused in the moment, taking his time, and appreciating the small steps that lead to big-picture success.
We’re inspired by Christian’s dedication to excellence both at work and on the golf course, and we’re proud to see him applying lessons from one pursuit to the other.
