Each year, the Providence Business News names multiple employers across the state of Rhode Island they feel deserve recognition as a Healthiest Employer. This year, we are proud to say Gentle Giant Providence was chosen as a recipient of this award.

The winners are divided into categories depending on company size, so everyone has the chance to shine. Companies are chosen based on responses to 65 application questions dealing with multiple business elements such as communication and culture, reporting and events, and other organizational elements used to promote wellness among employees.

Our Providence Giants, just like our Giants across the country, love staying active and serving customers with a smile. We believe when we take the best care of ourselves, we are then able to serve our customers with the best of our ability. With this intent in mind in the way we conduct our business, it is an honor for us to have these efforts recognized by the larger community.

In celebration of winning the Providence Healthiest Employers award, the Providence Business Journal hosted a poolside networking reception at the Providence Marriott in August to recognize all the winners. Two of our Giants based in our Providence office had the pleasure of attending the reception to accept our award and network with other business leaders.

We would like to congratulate our Providence office, send a special thank you to the Providence Business News for giving us this award, and we would like to congratulate all the other winners as well.
