Gentle Giant has been serving Southborough and Worcester County since 2010. On the eastern edge of Worcester county, Southborough is a beautiful community with a new commuter rail station that opened in 2022, putting you in Boston in less than an hour. Home to Breakneck Hill conservation land, the Sudbury reservoir trail, and Boroughs loop trail, Southborough offer many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Southborough is also home to the St. Mark’s, a private secondary school founded in 1865.
Please be advised that this particular Gentle Giant location is predominantly a dispatch office for our crews and not set up for walk-in customer service. Tom and Matt did an excellent job. They were careful and efficient .
The crew was very respectful, on time, and responsive through out the entire process. They were extremely hard working as well. It was downpouring all day and they kept the energy high and just showed up and did a great job.
Professional and efficient
Larry,
The crew was great!!!
Very efficient, very friendly, very willing to do as I needed.
Great experience!!!!
I will be using your company again in my eventual future move.
And I will definitely recommend Gentle Giant to all my friends.
The crew was efficient, professional, respectful and very careful with our furniture. Didn’t know what to expect, but I was very pleased with everything.
I have to say I was concerned when they arrived that they may not be up to task as I had some very large heavy pieces. The lead guy was thin and older and the other two were small and young. Wow, did I underestimate them. They worked smartly as a team and were extremely professional and very careful. The lead made some very good suggestions on furniture placement in the new home that were very helpful.
We highlighted five pieces of furniture (and art) that we wanted particular care to be taken with. Each piece was carefully wrapped and I firmly believe was not damaged during shipment. However, one of the pieces (an expensive chair) arrived damaged (and has subsequently been successfully repaired, thank you).
I can only assume that the chair was damaged when another item inadvertently impacted it while being removed from the living room. I would suggest that this outcome might have been entirely avoided had the pieces we identified been securely wrapped before any other moving action was taken. That way, an inadvertent impact would not have caused any damage.
So my suggestion for improvement is very simple: wrap up the delicate stuff first, not “as you go.”
“Hi Dominic, Andrew, and Gentle Giant,
I want let you know how much I appreciated the excellent service from Gentle Giant in my move. This was a very difficult move under extreme duress, and the crew of Nick Hill, Tom Travers and John Weigel was simply amazing. I’ve never had all my stuff “professionally packed” before, but they did an unbelievable job, and they did it with incredible efficiency, which was necessary for this move. I could not be happier. Also many thanks to Andrew Hashaway, my friend from Riverside Boat Club, who also did an exemplary job in organizing this move and arranging it so quickly. He is highly professional and his customer service skills are excellent.
I’ve used GG many times, and I would recommend you to anyone. I wouldn’t consider using another company.
Thank you again so much”
