SOMERVILLE, MA (August 2017) – Gentle Giant, a Boston moving company, is pleased to announce its continued partnership with the Head Of The Charles Regatta, an annual rowing competition that draws in athletes and spectators from all over the world. Our company has been a regatta sponsor since 2011, and we are looking forward to another great year.
“Gentle Giant is a moving company founded by rowers, and each year we get to sponsor the biggest rowing event in the world. The cultural synergy is incredible” said Niles Kuronen, a Senior Marketing Specialist at Gentle Giant.
As an official sponsor of the regatta, we will be assisting with transportation and storage needs on behalf of the other sponsors that ensure the event is successful. We assist with delivery and assembly of items from other sponsors as well.
Additionally, this marks the 12th year since the founding of the Gentle Giant Rowing Club, a non-profit community rowing club based in Somerville, MA. Gentle Giant prides itself on developing leaders within the company, through training and coaching programs, and strives to extend that same opportunity to local youth in the Somerville area through rowing. Gentle Giant Rowing Club has regularly competed in the Head Of The Charles Regatta since its inception.
We also bring the Gentle Giant Challenge to the event, a family-friendly challenge for participants of all ages. The participants must climb up a set of stairs and quickly descend via the slide attached to the opposite side. We offer prizes to the top finishers in various categories.
