Gentle Giant Returns as a Sponsor of the 54th Annual Head Of The Charles Regatta

SOMERVILLE, MA (September 2018) – Gentle Giant, a Boston moving company, is pleased to announce its continued partnership with the Head Of The Charles Regatta, an annual rowing competition which draws in athletes and spectators from all over the world. Our company has been a regatta sponsor since 2011, and we are looking forward to another great year.

As an official sponsor of the regatta, we will be assisting with transportation and storage needs on behalf of the other sponsors to ensure the event is successful. We assist with delivery and assembly of items from other sponsors as well.

“We are so excited to be the official movers of the HOCR. It’s so fun to cheer for fellow Giants, friends, and family every year. This year, there are generations of Giants rowing, which makes it even more exciting. The HOCR feels like the perfect way to celebrate fall with the rowing community. Rowing is so embedded in our company culture; we couldn’t choose a better annual event than the HOCR” said Danielle Rankin, marketing manager for Gentle Giant.

Once again, we will be bringing the Gentle Giant Challenge to the event, a family-friendly challenge for participants of all ages. The participants must climb up a set of stairs and quickly descend via the slide attached to the opposite side. We offer prizes to the top finishers in various categories.

“It’s great to have Gentle Giant, which was founded by rowers, to be present at the largest two-day regatta in the world. There are so many of us who work here who gained their sense of hard work, determination, gratitude and teamwork from rowing. Having Gentle Giant present at the Head Of The Charles brings it full circle for many of us” said Andrew Hashway, a move consultant at Gentle Giant and a HOCR rower.

We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces at the Head Of The Charles Regatta this year on October 20th and 21st
